another powerful one is power distance, check geert hofstede's work.
Alan Fiske's work seems interesting, but not much new in it and lack empirical
evidence. Ape, correct me if I'm wrong.

Alan's relational model does have empirical support. He is Donald Fiske's
son and Susan Fiske's brother.. He understands psychology and the importance
of empirical support quite well..
I recommend Richard Nisbett's book the geography of thought..
