better, but somehow I am still suffered by mild bi-polar like symptom, and
it correlate with Menstrual cycle well. 2 "happy and energetic" weeks and 2
" sad and fatigue" weeks.....don't know what I can do to control them...The
symptoms are not very severe, but I still feel I could do much better with a
relatively stable mood...
Don't know if I should go to a doctor...Any suggestions? | t*******n 发帖数: 4445 | 2 Feeling "happy and energetic" sounds different from the manic phase of
bipolar disorder. By DSM-IV, to qualify for the latter you need to feel at
least 3 of the following things in a persistent & significant way:
1. inflated self-esteem or grandiosity
2. decreased need for sleep
3. more talkative than usual or pressure to keep talking
4. flight of ideas, or subjective experience that thoughts are racing
5. distractibility
6. increase in goal-directed activity (either socially, at work or school

esp for 2, for a while I can not go to bed until 3 am but still wake up at 8
, don't feel sleep.
for a while I sleep for 9 hours but still feel tired
6 is probably good to me because most of the problem or difficulty in my
life are solved in that stage. But If something happen in the depressed
stage (even some simple stuff), I will drag it on and on until the
depression is gone..
