发帖数: 1879 | 3 MinGW is pretty good too. It's MSYS is like cygwin, with a lot of useful
utilities (grep, find, zip etc). It is a lot smaller than installing
cygwin.

发帖数: 20 | 5 Thank all of you for the inputs. I'm currently using VC++ 2008 ee; does it
carry all of the basic compiler functions? I am mainly using C++ for
numerical analysis, optimization, etc.
