So the paper was finally accepted for publishing, I am ready to move on. I
am planning to move on by the end of my third year of postdocing, and have
mentioned this to my mean boss in a polite way, however, he said he cannot
afford me leaving him, because I am the most productive one in his entire
lab (of 4). He wanted me to reconsider, but I'm determined to leave
ASAP.
I am wondering wondering how I can get around his reference letter when I
hear back from my applications to other labs. Can I tell them this fact?
Since the boss won't let go of me, he won't provide a letter reflective of
my real performance? How much credit can I expect for my such explanation?
My instinct tells me that my boss will write a nasty letter if I want to
leave. I have had enough with him, so I have to leave and keep myself at
least 50%-sane. | w******g 发帖数: 58 | | f*********g 发帖数: 958 | 3 3年,可以了,还有PAPER, MOVE ON 吧 |
