第二次，这样我只能回家。如果其间可以更换工作的话，那我是否可以先申请豁免，暂

case, I used J1 visa, because my J waiver took 22 months, so I changed 3
employers, all using J visa.
If you file I-140, you can use J visa, if your EB1 I-140 got approved, you
can waiver and get green card in 4 months, no need H1B visa.
If your EB2-I140 got approved, you need H1B visa, you need to wait 6-8 years

发帖数: 9035 | 9 Yes, you can. A lot of NIH postdocs finished their 5 year J1 status at NIH,
move to other Institute at H1B status.
