Symphony to Orchestrate a Little Night Music
While downtown enjoying Light Up Night festivities this Friday November 22nd
, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra invites you to enjoy a free hour-long
concert at Heinz Hall as a "thank you" to the public for its RAD funding.
Resident conductor Lawrence Loh will lead the symphony in popular works by
Beethoven and Mozart. Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra violinist Inori
Sakai is featured in Sibelius' Concerto in D minor for Violin and Orchestra.
The concert begins at 7:30PM. Reserve your free tickets in advance at the
Heinz Hall box office (600 Penn Ave., downtown Pittsburgh) or by calling (
412) 392-4900. Tickets will also be available on the night of the
performance. This event is general admission with seating on a first come,
first served basis. Heinz Hall is an accessible facility. |
