l******l 发帖数: 2679 | 1 I have opened a pool on a quite popular TT forum on who is the
current Chinese national male player with the style most fun to watch.
The players listed are:
Ma Long
Zhang Jike
Xu Xin
Wang Hao
Fan Zhengdong
Yan An
Zhou Yu
Plus two recent retirees:
Ma Lin
Wang Liqin
So far, Xu Xin is by far the most popular player collecting 46.67% of votes.
Youngster Fan and old master Ma Lin tied as 13.33%, Ma Long and GS champion
Zhang and Wang Hao all claimed 6.67%. Poor Yan An is still waiting for the
first cast in his favor. Even Zhou got a lone vote.

Xu Xin is still ahead with 39% of the vote followed by
Ma Lin with 21%.
Interestingly, both leaders are penholders, contrary to the
common belief that among shakehald dominated audiences, penhold
playing style is less favored than shakehand.
However, this can attribute to the fact, Xu Xin, though as a
penholder, is not a penholder in a traditional sense. As a
matter of a fact, Xu probably has the best off the table
rallying skill among all the pros nowadays. And we know
audiences absolutely love off the table looping rallies.
Some survey participators also noticed that Xu is the rare
Chinese player who seems genuinely enjoy playing, often
showing amused facial expressions even when he loses a point.
As for Ma Lin, his fighting spirit, tenacity, superb ball
control as well as table-tennis smart/tactic obviously
attract quite some of his non-Chinese fans. | b********n 发帖数: 5997 | 9 恩,跟俺排名一样。
