player坏了。刚去best buy，店员说home theater中的一个东西坏了，整个系统就没
法用了。他说不能把不同型号的home theater中的组件混着用。
我家里还有一套几年前买的panasonic home theater+DVD player，因为音箱太高不适
合现在家具的摆放，现在很少用了。我想把Panasonic DVD player和LG speaker混起来
，不知道可不可以。这两套home theater的speaker和subwoofer的功率不一样。

请问有谁了解TVPad 和 Streaming Player (比如WD TV Live Streaming Media Player
)在接受的电视频道和视频网站上的区别？
我想它们都属于Streaming Players。前者是能接受中国等亚洲地区的电视节目和视频
网站比如pptv.com。后者接受美国地区的电视以及网站节目。对吗？后者能和前者一样
的看pptv.com上的节目以及亚洲电视台吗？难道不同制造商生产的同类设备在接受范围
上截然不同而且不能改变吗？如果用户能改变/定制，那效果好吗？谢谢。 |

的理解，但是文章中提到的一个用云计算直接观看存储在云中的视频的例子很有点意思
。今天刚好看到一位牛人做的live mesh video player，贴上来给大家分享。

这篇博客的下部有一个视频，讲述如何编程实现mesh video player。如果对程序实现
不感兴趣的话，直接跳到视频的最后1/7处（大概还剩3分钟的样子）。博主演示了mesh
video player如何在网页以及本地播放视频。即使在网络连接断开的情况下，mesh
video player也能够播放同步到本地的视频。这应该算作是同步到本地的一个很好应用。
注意同步才是mesh最初设计的目的，mesh不是网络存储，不是网络操作系统，也不是云
计算的全部。Mesh只是实现了分布式网络存储中同步这一很重要的特性。但是它使得实
现很多其他网络文件系统的特性成为可能。以现在网络速度这个瓶颈来看，“一份拷贝
，随处访问”在网络存储中是不可能实现的。 |
