Rules:
1. Anybody at any Table Tennis skills level is welcome. Players can register
and drop off the league anytime without any fees.
2. All matches will be played at Texas Table Tennis Center (TTTC). A
membership of the club will be required (any form).
3. All matches will be best of 5 with 11 points each game. Singles only. 4.
Regular games:
- Matches can be played between any two registered players any time at TTTC
as long as both players agreed the match is countered into the league.
Multiple matches can be countered if both players agreed and only matches
played between players both registered are qualified for counting.
- Each player is given an initial rating 1500 (not USATT ratings).
- The winner of the matches played is responsible for sending the final
scores to the league coordinator to get their ratings recalculated (only the
numbers of win/lose games for each match are needed. e.g. 3:0, 3:1, or 3:2).
- Games report format: date of play, winner’s name, the other player's name
, results (if multiple, list each match as a single record). e.g.
1/1/2014, Bob, John, 3:1
1/1/2014, John, Bob, 3:2
- Each win will give the winner 5 points to be added to his or her rating
and the loser will be
lessened by 5 points.
5. Year-end play-off games:
- At the year-end (around Christmas/New Year break), the final top 8 rated
players are eligible for the year end play-off games. If any of them can't
make it, the ones with lower rankings will advance. The players will be
divided into two groups. Round Rabin play in groups and the top 2 players
will advance to single elimination. Cash awards will be given to the final
top 3 finished players (amounts TBD). |

ranking.
