thought i could beat him from SF city.
First time played him, i warmed up one match, if i won, it would be
next 2, i was behind all the way to the end, but came back to win 13:11
Which gave me a lot of confidence, so i won 2nd game, from 3rd, 4th,
i did not stick on my 3-4 different types of serves he had most troubles
with, he came back to 2:2.
5th game, he led all the way to 10:8, i won 2 points with my own 2 serves,
luckily i won 12:10.
One hour later, it's his 2nd match, my first, i got to beat him to stay
on the table, i won 3:2 again with 11:6 in 5th. (i won 1st, 2nd, he
won 3rd and 4th) | c****1

发帖数: 2457 | 10 我以前住在三蕃市的时候还经常跟Tony他们打，也赢过他，如果在小场地打，他是占优
势的，因为他是典型的近台打法，发球确实很好，然后是一板"all or nothing"的近台
正手爆冲，但正手连续性稍差。他推挡也不错，因为个子蛮高所以推挡护台范围较大。
去年的华运会团体赛我代表Foster City时跟他打过，2：3输给他了。接他的发球，绝
对不能只是上去“碰球”，一定要主动加点力才好控制，而且最好侧接以便避转同时主
动加侧旋。发到你反手的半出台要尽量侧身用正手拉起来，不要搓接。你也可以试着用
长胶那面去“磕”他的发球，注意是“磕”不是“削”，他那板正手爆冲的稳定性还是
有点欠缺的。

那一板球，连续性比较弱。你回过去的话，即使到他正手他也多半是变成挡，很少有连
续拉冲的。 | P****S

i can return with my LP 70-80%, but just 30% with smooth side, i flipped
about
once a game to win a point for serve return.

U2375, i beat a guy over 2100 from TX in group RR, led Terry 2:1, asked
Patrick Wu to coach me, but he declined since he said he knew Terry too,
at that time, Terry was a 2100+ shakehand.
I lost 2:3, afterwards, Patrick told me if i had won, my rating would have
jumped over 2100.
So i was just one game away from 2100.

Stanley stopped by the club after our 1st match, he couldn't believe i beat
tony, said if we played again, most likely Tony would win.
After the 2nd match, he said tony should not loop again after i blocked his
strong initial loop using LP, instead he should have just pushed back, since
he looped under the net...
thanks for sharing your experience, Barry said he played him once and lost
to him 2:3 too.
