服。所以一直没买着看。
但既然是经典中的经典，感觉还是有必要看看。大家有读过（就是读明白了的）的说说
感觉？谢谢，是不是值得花这个钱买
这一套书。 比如和A. Zee的书，peskin，或者Cheng Li的书比。 |

以前听说的说法是，你自己学的时候，看Peskin等，当场论助教的时候，看Weinberg

the books you mention are not all on the same level. Weinberg is in his own
class, Peskin is another good one. 其余的不要浪费时间.
also, in the subject of field theory, sometimes, old books are more modern.
modern books can be junk.

发帖数: 1300 | 6 老温的书印刷风格和字体我也巨烦，但的确是最好的场论书，没有之一。其他的同一级
别的用哪本无所谓。Zee的做教材不合适。

发帖数: 10 | 7 M. Peskin's book is very good for beginners, especially for pheno persons.
Weiberg's textbook is extremely clear about field theory and symmetries. It
also has wonderful descriptions of chiral langrangian, which he contributed
a lot. Another useful textbook is Dynamics of the Standard Model by John F.
Donoghue et. al, which is useful for heavy flavor physics. |

Pochinski弦论不也基本上是照搬原paper吗，只不过稍微搬得好一些
不过新的QFT教材确实也没东西可写的，顶多就是参考以前那些书，重新规划一下
顶多再加点SUSY SUGRA东西

Polchinski included a lot of stuff, and his book says many smart things.
Maybe Kenneth Wilson will write a book, but Cardy sort of wrote his book.
Many books authors obviously haven't thought about the subject much, as a
result the books are probably remnants of what they remember from the
classes in graduate school and not some great masters taught them.
