my TDI's history
6k miles: serious accident, insurance spent 12k+ to repair (I should insist
to total the car)
36.5k miles: check engine light: $5000+, cover by warranty
40k miles: O2 sensor: $400
41k miles: check engine light is on: find a small hole in the input system
$200
46k miles: change battery, a few warning lights are on, turn off finally
the big problem is the car accident, it has problems/sounds after the
accident
so don't buy car with accident, remember guys.

I owned passat, jetta, bettle and golf. All used VW cars with 100+k miles,
all of them are old and used car and problem free except passat.
Passat died once on the road but only cost $90 to fix the problem.
