battery from dying down when you are not using it for long intervals. (Also
good to recharge and check the battery before replacement. A New battery
also needs to be charged to full capacity before installation)

Either you got a defective battery, or your battery was left discharged for
a long time at the shop. In either case, the battery should be returned.
Leaving acid batteries discharged for long periods will shorten the battery

I know this will have a limited appeal, but it worked for me.I had two old
car batteries in my garage that I needed to dispose of. There is a limit of
three batteries per person and even though it is supposed to be limited to
car, boat, power sport, and lawn/garden batteries, they let me turn in a
dead battery from an old UPS as it was similar to a Lawn/garden battery. I
