I was tricked into buying this because some people were paid to write fake
recommendations at Chinese websites. I didn't know they were paid to do so
at that time. I thought the recommendations were from real customers. Well,
I immediately found out the truth after receiving this item:
1. It is very heavy; hard to handle if you are a not muscle man.
2. You have to wipe the inner pot completely dry before placing it into the
outer pot. With its heavy weight, especially with rice and water in it, it
is extremely hard to hold it up with one hand while wiping its bottom with
another hand.
3. The instruction booklet says we should not wash rice in the inner pot.
Then where shall we wash the rice before cooking it? Use another pot then
transfer the rice to this pot? Is it realistic? You know what I mean if you
are also an Asian woman who cooks rice every day.
4. There is only one inner pot, meaning if you use it to cook rice, you won'
t be able to use it to cook anything else. You can't easily buy extra inner
pots in supermarkets because it is a fitted one. Some other brands have
interchangeable inner pots and it is much more convenient.
5. It doesn't cook oatmeal.
6. It is huge and kind of black (not as shinny as the picture), occupying a
large space of my counter top with its unattractive looking.
7. My honest opinion is: if it is $50 - $80, I am OK with it. Yet it is $125
. I don't see any function it carries but the lower-price-cookers don't. Why
does it charge so much while not any better (and even worse) than others? |

It's laughable to see the rest of your review. I know it is ridiculous, but
the only thing I can imagine is that you are a writer from a competitor
whose only intention is to ruin Instant Pot's reputation, since you targeted
specifically on some areas that no beginners would dive into. For example,
were you inside the pressure cooker where you could sense that the internal
pressure is very low, otherwise, would you please share your tips of how you
measured the pressure?

I'm sure that I had this item, not their competitor's writer and 100% sure
you are their employee or their writer.
Almost all 5 star comments here are from their employees and friends.
They are very small company and no people will answer any phone calls, this
is confirmed. No question at all.
If you can trust a company that only can communicate with you via email,
everybody will laugh.
It is nice to hear that all of your PROBLEMS are solved!

I bought a second pot for my parents, and they found a small issue with the
pot. I contacted the company via email, and in a couple of hours, a new
replacement pot was shipped to my parents' house. This is why I've never got
a chance to try the phone customer service and I can't comment on that.
It's funny to see how bad you are pissed off here, as there are many
beautiful things in your life other than criticizing a wonderful product.

用个大碗洗米比用这个大锅轻松太多，而且这边水质不好，
我都是用过滤的水煮饭，要这个锅洗完米再把用于洗米但
没过滤的水都倒出来也不容易。
