that number is 10 for the first picture I saved (I deleted a few earlier
pictures). That means my D90 is brand new?

买了以后不要寄任何东西给Nikon，也别在Nikon注册你买的东西。
需要保修的时候把相机/镜头外加空白保修卡寄给Nikon，附上一张小纸说这个是gift（
写一下estimated purchasing date)，然后Nikon会根据你估算的purchasing date算保
修的起始日。注意千万别寄original receipt，否则等于缩短了你的保修时间。
所以Nikon的东西基本就是终身保修。
