pharmacy is a little backwards on the East Coast. I'm only a PGY1 resident
right now, but I'll eventually become a clinical pharmacist. I round with a
medical team everyday depending on which service I'm on. I have excellent
relationships with all the members on the team. I make many recommendations
on a daily basis, and my team asks for my opinions all the time too. They
sometimes just let me put orders and labs in under th

I do not mean everything in pharmacy is negative. I just want to bring some
ugly truth.
I practiced for years, and I met a lot of pharmacists and we discuss this
together. I have many close pharmacist friends who are working as clinic
pharmacists, staff pharmacists, and retail pharmacists.

jobs. They love their jobs, and many of them are involved in clinical trials
with MDs and publishing their findings.
I don't know what kind of hospital you have been practicing at, but the
pharmacy department is well-integrated at our hospital.
I'm sorry that you find your career boring, and thankfully I feel very
passionate about my career and my specialty and have found to work at the
right places where pharmacy earns

其家里来了客人之后，一桌子的脏碗脏碟子脏筷子，我就把它们都放在水池里，一个一
个的洗，先冲一冲，然后放洗涤灵在洗碗布上，然后用洗碗布把每个碟子每个碗里里外

The pharmacists I work with in a local hospital are happy. They do not find
clinical stuff boring but fascinating. They are proud that they are
pharmacists, who also make impact on patient care. They know tons of
medication and they see tons of different ones every day. They are so happy
that they can answer questions regarding medications from anyone, including

Docs are lazy so they left Vanco/Genta/coumadin or even zosyn orders to
pharmacist. That does not mean they trust you, simple because they are lazy.
Some doctors always write order" antibiotics pharmacy to dose", when you are
fresh, you might be excited about this, but when you make same orders for
years, you will feel different.
They always do that, even you are only a staff pharmacist, say in night
shift admission orders.

Like anything you do in life, your perception of your career is either "
glass half full" or "glass half empty".
If all you think about is the negatives of your job, I can assure you you
will hate your job. If you can find the positives in your career (no matter

我现在只是在准备FPGEE,照理没有资格说这个.但是,从我们在国内药学院毕业的找工来
看,大家最不愿意去的就是做药剂师.这个可能这两年有所改变.但是,以前基本如此.为
什么? 收入不高,工作BORING.
美国为什么那么多人选择这个药剂师这份工作,当然首先是看中这份工作的收入.
千万不要说什么不爱某份工作就做不好某份工作.这是不搭界的.
我现在是一个临床护士.说实话我很不喜欢这份工作.我想我的同事里也有很多人很不喜

boring. I think it's normal for LZ to be very bored now after working in
pharmacy for a while. But I like unnamed's attitude, thinking positive in
the career and our lives is essential to be a happy person. I paid a lot (

as clinical pharmacists seem to really enjoy their work even though they
work 60+ hours per week. A PGY2 resident candidate I talked to even works 80+
hours a week but he loves his job.

You only need to do vanco/gent/coumadin!
I have to do OE/clarification/PK/TPN/Chemo/precepting students/answer
questions from MD/RNs.
Back to my old hospital, I had to do JClub, Noon conferences, precepted 1st/
3rd/4th year pharmacy students on the top of my dail clinical duties.
My day is never boring, just busy and carzy busy. I love what I am doing. I
think no matter how many years you have been working in the same field, it
is up to "YOU" to make your day either "BORING" OR "EX | s**4
