Call all FOREIGN pharmacists or FOREIGN pharmacists to be , urgent action
needed!
Dear all,
In case you haven't heard about this yet let me give you some few
introduction. There is a group called I-Pharm ( foreign grad pharmacist) who
are fighting for our cause to end our hardships in toefl ibt requirements.
A meeting will be held this end of October between Nabp and ACE. They will
review the TOEFL requirements for us. We wanted to solicit your help by

limitations? I graduated in June of 2003, that is why I am concerned about
this regulation. |

long as I have a chance to be a pharmacist.
Now seems I need to go back to school and study pharmacy all over again.
This is totally unfair. |

发帖数: 2504 | 4 I mean I totally cannot understand why people graduating after Jan First of
2003 is not qualified. Other majors, like clinical physician and nurses are
qualified no matter when they graduate. I cannot see the difference between
graduating in June of 2003 and graduating in December of 2002. Another
question is that nobody graduates in the fall semester. This limitation is
not reasonable. |

如果哪位同胞不满NABP的规章，请不要用情绪针对我。否则我自动删贴退出讨论。
2003.1.1之后美取消了药学本科，取而代之的是6年制PharmD.
FPGEE（Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination)为相当学历的测试，
NABP认为2003.1.1之后毕业药学本科在美国药学教育体系内已经没有学位与之相当，因
此划定此时间点作为是否接受报考的依据。 |

发帖数: 97 | 6 A lot of PharmD program here is only 3 years. Students can finish
prerequisite courses within 1 year and half and some of those prerequisite
courses are actually taught in high schools in China.
I guess the only difference is that they have more clinical courses, but we
have more solid background in drug mechanisms and chemistry. I think it's
unfair that they don't even give us a solution to update our degree with
theirs. The only way for us to practice pharmacy is to go back to school and
retak |
