So you are in Clinical? My mentor said Abott is good, the location is very
good. But my classmate went to Takeda and seems enjoy it. So guess both are
good.
Would you mind sharing with me the salary range/ Cavation days? you can drop

now offer a quite decent starting salary for fresh PhDs. Five years ago it
was just over 70k.

and bonus rate. There are two major reasons for my decision. First, Takeda
is everified but Abbott is not. Job security is an important issue for a
fresh Ph.D given that the chance to win the H1B lottery next year is not 100
%; Second, the group in Abbott is PK group, which may not be good for a

I think that late phase is better career wise too. I throw a brick in stat
board about clin/nonclin. no reply yet:(
I have similar dilemma too, will post later when everything settle. |

onsite... Very few Japanese in the stat group and all managers are Americans
or Chinese. Even in the higher management in the North America site, there
seems to be very few Japanese.
