TOX department. Big pharma particularly wants to know how parent drug or
bioactive metabolites covalently bind to macromolecules (e.g., proteins)
leading to toxicity. (I should point out that thus far no clear evidence
demonstrate the binding of drug to macromolecules absolutely results in
toxicity.).
Go for it! I guarntee you'll get lots of interviews from big pharmas after
graduation.
