"It's not too early to start creating positive habits about video game use.
Some suggestions:
• Hold off buying a game system as long as possible.
• Strictly monitor which games your child plays and for how long.
Even active game systems like Wii should be a complement to active indoor
and outdoor play, not a replacement for it.
• Bracket game time with active play.
• Don't allow snacking while playing.
• Follow age guidelines in choosing games." |
