发帖数: 2082 | 1 hi 大家好，需要大家出个主意看如何能帮上忙。简单过程如下，我两个小孩以前在同
一个daycare，老大上这个daycare的afterschool，老二上这个daycare的preschool。
今年因为整个城市重新划分校区，老大被分到新的学校，这是个全新的学校，而且还有
preschool。什么都是
新建的，而且这个城市有个特点，不允许你到别的地方上学，只能到你所住地方指定的
地方上学。幸运的是这个新建学校还相当不错。所以我就在今年4月份左右分别给两个
小不点报上了名到新的学校去，老二去这个学校的preschool，一个是这个新学校的
program比较不错，听说配备的老师相当好，而且也比较便宜，才705一个月，而且对于
我这样接送孩子也方便。我把孩子要转学的消息通知了孩子的老师还有daycare
处一个assistant ministrative。 等8月两个孩子要去新学校上学的时候，我想跟以前
的daycare清一下帐。结果被告知，因为没有提前书面通知daycare，我需要付一整个月
的daycare费用，而且还不能得到我的deposit。还要交40元的late fee。我的意思是两
个孩子只付三分之二，因为老大8月份的summer camp 不在目前的daycare，所以没有费
用。只有老二的费用。老二一个月的daycare是975美金，三分之二大约有650美金左右
。我的deposit当时是老大老二学费的一半，老大每个月afterschool 是355，所以总的
deposit是665美金左右。 结果我得到通知要求被交欠款1015， 如若不交，proceed
with turning it in to collections.我还不明白最后一句是什么意思，好像是要交给
讨债公司索债什么的，要影响我信用什么的，大家有什么好的招吗。这美国人欺人太甚
，有什么好的对策吗。 请帮忙。

I told you that when you don't give 30 days notice you pay for the month you
were scheduled to be here which is $975, your pick up fees of $40 and you
will not receive the deposit back because you did not comply with the
contract. It is not prorated for 2/3 of the month because you did not give
any notice. You owe GSC $1015. If you choose not to pay the amount due, I
will let the accountant know and she and the board can decide if they will
proceed with turning it in to collections.

The contract you signed said written notice, not telling someone. We see 63
parents and 42 staff each day. We can't possibly recall every conversation
, which is why you are asked to do it in writing. Even an email is ok. We
sent out several emails and requests to have parents give us information on
whether plans for fall have changed and if you will not be attending. You
did not respond to those and only called to tell us her last day when you
found out you got into Borlaug. Again, I will pass your situation on to the
Board President. This amount should have been paid to us by Aug 5, before
you even told us (with a phone call that Ashley answered) that you were
leaving. It is now August 23rd and we haven't received your tuition for the
dates that she was here, regardless.

since he is not responsible for enrollment too. I had thought that ## and ##
#’s teacher is the one who really take care of both girls and I suppose
tell them what’s my decision about girls. I had thought telling information
to girls’ teacher is enough to inform GSC.

I am also think I clearly told Craig that #### and #### will leave the
center, maybe he misunderstood me. When we are talking about this, Cici’s
mum also be there. I had thought if I told one of ####’s teacher then you
guys all will knows. It is so sad that the miscommunication caused so much
trouble.

It is not the responsibility of ### or ####'s teachers. It is the parent
responsibility. Those teachers have nothing to do with enrollment.

I called **** to let her know to contact Roosevelt if she was still
interested in the preschool program at Borlaug – as she was on one of the
first round of parents to be contacted. She has not called us back – would
you be able to say something to her? She has until April 6th to call us
and to get registeredto keep her spot.

如果我理解正确，你四月份告诉孩子的老师说要走，但既没有通知校长，也没有给他们
任何书面通知，这就难办了。涉及到合同和钱，一定要跟管钱的人交涉，老师没有义务
替你通知校长。就算她替你说了，也还是没有书面凭证，法律上你仍然占下风。这跟有
些房客口头通知房东要搬走，结果仍然被罚钱是一样的道理。老美照合同死抠的时候，
都是铁面无私六亲不认的。
现在他们要一千多，你想付六百多，其实你纠结的就是这多出来的400多刀，对不对？
你试试看跟校方协商，付给他们200多，这样他们也也许就什么动力找collection
agency了。
