I couldn’t make the payment via my cc. So I asked my mom to place the order
via her account from China. After my mom made the payment, they failed to
ship the books. If my mom had not followed up by phone, they would have
just taken the money w/o doing anything.
It took a month for the package to arrive after Dangdang acknowledged the
payment and agreed to ship the books over the phone. They didn’t pack well
so the package was broken. To my s | m**n

1. 海外信用卡, 你必须用能被verify的VISA卡或者mastercard. 我的经验,
只有特定银行的卡, 而且大部分是Debit card, 才能被verify. 这个它网上
有link, 用之前试一下就知道. 据说American Express也可以, 我没试过.
我的visa卡可以被verify, 我加入了verify by visa, 就可以用的.
但我所有的卡中, 确实只有debt cards才能通过verify by visa的验证.
正常的信用卡到veryfy by visa的网站上注册, 根本通不过.
2. 当当寄书, 有的时候, 特别是"精装"书, 包装不好, 是常常被抱怨的.
到当当自己网站上看评论就知道了. 当然, 我买了十来次, 倒没碰到过.
3. 寄到海外, 确实慢. 大概要两个月时间. 运费是原价(注意: 原价)的一半.
如果寄到国内, 基本是免运费. 只需要他们完成"审核", 这个如果你用国外信用卡,
他们会发信给你要一些信息, 大概在下单付帐之后几天到一周左右就会发货.
发货后一两天就到了.
