far from that (2:23)

l*******o 发帖数: 669 | 8 I will need at least 15 hours assuming simul-climbing all technical sections
. Laughably slow, I know, but that's just the reality.
From 100m to marathon in running, I am no more than 60% slower than world
record time. But when it comes climbing (Grand Teton or Rainier), I am 400%
slower. Indeed, very inefficient. |
c*******r 发帖数: 13580 | 9 400% slower isn't too bad for the nose

l*******o 发帖数: 669 | 10 Nose is different. That's very technical. Teton (5.5 route) is only
marginally technical. Most routes I climbed on Rainier are non-technical. (
People may disagree with me on the latter point, but to me if a route has no
technical section, it is not technical. Rescue may be technical, but
climbing isn't. Like rescue operation on class 3/4 terrain may be technical,
but class 3/4 terrain itself isn't.)

definitely not technical, nor is DC or Emmons.

l*******o 发帖数: 669 | 12 When I climbed them, only Kautz glacier and LibRidge were technical, Sunset
ridge and Tahoma glacier is semi-technical. Others were not.
Note that technical climb does not mean it's harder/riskier than non-
technical climb. Kautz is definitely easier and safer than Success cleaver,
which was the scariest of all.

less scary than scrambling class 4 loose shit.
