发帖数: 35 | 1 Before this year, I attemped Rainier three times with two success summits.
In the one failed attempt, we had blizzard condition and were forced to turn
around. From these climbs, I had the theory that Rainier (the two easy
routes, DC and Emmons) should not be climbed in two days. It should be
either in a one-day hard push or relaxed three-day stroll. With two-day
climb, one has to carry heavy packs to camp, and with just a few hours of
rest and sleep, get up again to go for summit bid. It seems |
