local店里东西很少,仅有的也是男生的鞋码试不了。
求推荐women's plastic mountaineering boots款式,然后我去搜搜开远点哪里有可以
试的
Thanks a lot!
在网上做了一圈功课,大概搜到这几双unisex可以有女生的size
La Sportiva: Batura Evo, Spantik, Baruntse
(他家回复:We currently do not have a plastic mountaineering boot
specifically for women. The Batura Evo and the Spantik would be a bit
narrower than the Baruntse. Both the Spantik and Baruntse have heat-
moldable liners that can take up some volume for a female's low volume foot.)
Scarpa: 他家回复---All of our plastic mountaineering boots are unisex and
go down as low as a 4 UK/ 5 US women’s on the Koflach boots and 4.5 UK/5.5
US women’s on the Scarpa boots. So, as long as your foot is not smaller, we
should have a boot that fits.
Lowa: Civetta, Civetta Extreme (unisex)
Kayland: 6001, 8001

Asolo的回复: To figure out your size – Ladies size minus 1.5 to convert
to mens, but then add 1 whole size back on to accommodate the thicker socks
with this type of activity and for foot swelling at altitude.

你的脚多大?
What are the plastic boots for? For mountaineering? Where, elevation, temperature, duration of your trip, etc...
The most forgiving plastic boots is the Koflach expe. You shall be able to
find a used pair on eBay.

IMHO, Arctis Expe is the most comfortable double boots I've worn (if comfortable plastic boots is not an oxymoron). My friend's feet are US W7 and mine are W7.5. We got them really cheap several years ago. We wore them and never had any blister or shin bang problem. I saw many Canadians wear them; some boots are at least twenty years old. For my nine years into ice climbing and mountaineering, I have never heard anyone had problem with the expe. The Arctis expe is good down to -40C.
Whittaker Mountaineering has Koflach.

Their recommendations about sizing and other things are pretty accurate. RMI takes clients up to Denali (RMI is owned by the whittaker family). So they know what they are talking about.
Buying a pair of plastic boots is no different from buying lottery ticket, especially for beginners.
If you compare the expe with some fancier models, the weight is about the
same (the fancy ones always say they are lighter... Lighter than waht?).
The fancy models boast agility. But my Canadian friends wear Expe leading WI5, how much more agility one can ask for. A pair of comfortable boots are key to the success of your expedition. Once you get a pair, if possible, use them on Rainier and get used to the feel of walking in them. The Expe does not have half size shell; a size 5 shell is the same as 4.5 or 5.5 (I can't remember which way around. Ask the sales rep). But I believe the
liner comes with half size.
The stock liner is good enough for your intended use. Do NOT let the store
clerk talk you into getting an Intuition or other $$$ liners. Do three 5-
mile snow hiking in them and the liner will mold to your feet.
