difficult, but not exactly a stroll in the park like Rainier Emmons either.
This is the descend route for Price Glacier and North Face, one of which I
will want to climb next year.

nearly killed in an accident in 05 climbing the N ridge of Mt Washington
with
Matt. Matt proudly told me that their mishap was published in AAJ 06' N.
America Mountaineering Accidents, ha! Last year they quit their jobs, sold
their house, and began a long road trip climbing good rocks and mountains in
the America. My hat off for their courage!
As of the proposed climb, it looks fun. Will see what happens when summer is

Qualification I assume at least "Basic Climb Class Graduate", as Sammyboy
mentioned " It's not too difficult, but not exactly a stroll in the park
like Rainier Emmons either."

发帖数: 121 | 10 It will be a two-day climb. Bivy at the entrance of chimney on day 1. Up and
out on day 2, which will be a long day.
Requirement:
1. Excellent physical conditioning. If you are tired after climbing Hood S
Side, you are not in the proper condition for this climb.
2. Able to move up and down quickly on class 4 terrains unroped and low
5th class terrain with running belay. Chimney itself is class 4 and is about
1000 feet in elevation. Central gully of summit pyrimid is class 3/4 and is
about 600 fe |

It's my climb, not buzzy's. He may have some strigent requirement, but I don
't. I think you are fine if you can get a prior glacier climb with the club.

that should have the skills of a Basic Student Graduate. Anyway, it's zd's
climb. The leader make the decision. I totally trust his leadership. It
would be a nice climb, not mentioning the good view on the summit. |
