Lone peak, a 11,253ft peak, consider one of the most strenuous day hike in
the wasatch area in Utah. The easiest route is from Jacobs ladder trail (
elevation at 5600ft) from Draper side. I heard there are several quite
exposed area near summit and I was nervous when I read others' report.
We originally plan to hike from the recent renovated Orson Smith trailhead
