The Petrillo Music Shell kicks off the evening festivities with a concert
by the Grant Park Symphony Orchestra at 6:30 p.m.
A 20-minute dramatic re-enactment of an air/sea rescue performance by the
Chicago Fire Department, featuring a Police Marine Unit boat, a fire
department helicopter and air/sea rescue divers demonstrating procedures
for lake rescues. This demonstration
is tentatively scheduled for 7:45 p.m. at QueenUs L
