anesthesis, mornitor the status, adjust the dose if needed, document every 1
minute or per protocol. You are under supervision by the physician or the
anethetist by law. So, in operation room, usually the anethetist come,
inspect and write order, then he will leave to other operation site and you
as the NA stay with the patient and work with the surgeon. If you cannot
handle, you need to call the anethetist. Our school is rank | d********i

supervision. That is actually very safe because you are not alone. As far as
stress, which do you think is more stressful, working as a NA, or working
as a ICU nurse?

patients at CRNAs to avoid liability should anything happens to those
unstable ones." Are CRNAs working alone or under Anthetists' supervision?
Can you get help when you need? Anyways, CRNAs are still nurses, they are
not doctors.
Can they work somewhere else beside hospitals?

program and at the same time accumulate my ICU experience. Do you think that
will help?
I am bored with my current RN job. By setting up a career goal and working
for it, I feel like I am full-of energy again. Of course, I like the money,
as well.
I know nothing is given for free in North America. Good pay means hard work
and stress. I don't want to ruin my life but just want to try to balance it
out.

much.
It is under supervision of MDs, but the practice is relatively independent.
Only after you fulfill all the required number of cases, you can get
certified. The malpractice insurance for CRNA is high.

really appreciate your info. I am still in Canada, there is no CRNA here,
that is why I have no idea about it. I wonder how I can get to know a CRNA
online and learn the story from her/him?
