保险deny了。
目前医生bill了770刀，账单里面写着
limited scan, ultrasound 375刀
NT screening 375刀
finger stick 20刀
后来我又做了大B超
保险又deny了
医生bill了400刀。
我的保险united health care student resource上面写着
cover ultrasound -
once first trimester
once second trimester (anatomy scan)
我打电话给保险公司，保险公司说
我已经在 first trimester 做了好几次b超，都cover了，
他们只cover两次b超，其他的b超都得证明medical necessary.
上面说的两个b超 NT, 大b超 不能证明medical necessary.
目前，保险公司都是这个说辞，医生的office也不愿意帮忙，
据说唯一的路，就是自己写信appeal。
我从来没appeal过，大家有什么建议，意见，经验么？
真的能成功么？
任何信息都非常的appreciate。
第二，是这个费用的问题。
我做NT test之前，他们告诉我要花375刀，我不知道最后怎么会这么贵？
请问姐妹们，你们的bill都是多少？
能越详细越好，医生charge多少钱，保险砍价之后多少钱？
能share一下你们医生报保险时候用的code嘛？
有没有自费的姐妹们，你们花了多少钱？
如果去和医生的office negociate，成功率高么？
这个医生是个私人诊所，很多高危的孕妇在他这里看。

要交100
懒得跟保险公司扯皮，暂且相信医院。就交了100。
现在23周，共接到两次帐单，一次30，一次100。 |

你如果超过35岁，可能可以去argue唐筛
如果appeal没用，大概可以和医院去谈，少付点？
我ob是属于一个医院的，所以账务问题不是找ob clinic，是找医院财务

发帖数: 1474 | 4 The ultrasound UHC covers is for 大B超, one for first trimester and one for
second trimester.
The regular B超 your doctor do during the office visit should not be billed.
They should only bill for office visit, not billed separately for
ultrasound. Othwise you should ask doctor not do ultrasound.
I would suggest you call the doctor to ask them change the orignal bill for
those office visits or find you some medical reasons to allow UHC to
reimburse you for the extra untrasound you already did. UHC reimburse based
on rules, and they won't reprocess your appeal unless you give them
something different to support your claim.
Before you get this cleared, don't let your doctor to do more ultrasound on
you unless you get pre-approval from UHC. Otherwise you have to pay those bill again.

还能够改code么？
而且我做了四次，在两个地方做的。
而且和这两个b超做的地方也不一样。
我怎么找呢？

大b超不是就second trimester一次么？难道first trimester还有大b超？

自己付，大b超让保险付

发帖数: 1474 | 9 一般正常只要做俩次Ｂ超，保险都会负，是由专门的technician 做的。一次是做唐筛
around week 12， 一次是detailed ultrasound around week 20.
你做了四次，另俩次是为何做呢？如果就是你的Ob 看看肚子里的宝宝during the
regular office visit, then they should not bill you for that ultrasound as
it is part of the office visit. I think you should contact the billing dept
and ask them to resend the bill with the correct procedure code. 如果另两次
ultrasound are for some specific purpose, then ask the doctor to provide
the reason to uhc, then uhc can process accordingly.

发帖数: 1474 | 10 如果医生把Claim 搞错了， 当然要改过来。 uhc 会reprocess 的。that's the
reason patient recieives explanation of benefit for all the claims. 否则医
生想 怎么收钱都行， 保险公司又不知道医生到底给病人做了什么。

发帖数: 316 | 11 我也是第一个trimester做了一次B超，后20周又做了大B超，但是因为当时查出LLP，医
生让26-28周再做一个B超确认一下。。跟LZ一样用的是UHC的student plan. 最后一次B
超一点都没有cover。然后我就给医院财务还有保险公司都打了电话，跟他们说明最后
面这次B超是medically required的。保险公司就给医院发了新的EOB，并说让他们出示
我的B超记录什么的。。到现在也没有结果。。希望会顺利吧。。BLESS LZ。。
