个人保险计划不会有这么好的，大都是公司的保险计划，像这么好的公司保险机会越来
越少了。前年我们公司生孩子就付不超过$300co-pay，明年自己要掏２０％啦，$
2000dedutiable,所以差不多$2000吧。

我就是一开始想着能改就没放， 结果不让我用后来加的FSA付以前的开销。
我在前一年还专门问过HR，她们也搞不太清楚， 说应该可以。
等我要不到钱， 打电话去问， 被告知IRS规定就是这样的。

我前两天打电话给公司的ＨＲ还有benefit services,他们的解释是放入ＦＳＡ的钱是
for medical expense, 只要又放入的钱是在同一年，是可以cover 生孩子的费用的。
比如说，你是６月一日生的宝宝，这以后你加入$2000在ＦＳＡ的账户上，这$2000块钱
是可以用来付生孩子的费用包括住院费的（六月一号开始的费用的）。
你是什么情况？你是几月份生的孩子？你要是一月份生的孩子，那加到ＦＳＡ的钱是不
能用于去年的花销的。

个管FSA的，俩人都对我说可以的。看来I was screwed up. I didn't put enough
money after talking with them.

If as what they said that we only could use the added FSA amount to cover
the expense incurred after the baby was born. Let's say the delivery service
can't be covered using the new FSA money because it happened before the
baby came out. But I have already put in $1000 in the current FSA, am I able
to use this old $1000 to pay the delivery cost? I would argue that I used
the old FSA money to pay the delivery cost.
The hospital expense incurred after the baby is born. Am I able to use the
new added $1000 to pay the 2-3 days hospital expense? I would argue that I
should be able to use the new FSA money because it incurred after the baby was born.
Well the FSA plan admin has to figure out all of these before and after and
calculate the percentage of new/old money in the FSA account. It is like
they have nothing else more important to do. How ridiculous!
I will find out all of these next year and update the post later.

According to the rule, election need to be done within 30 days after baby is
born. But can I use the money for another child instead of the new born? My
HRI don't know the answer.

the Dependent Care account to pay for the day care. You can argue that you
can't handle both kids at home after the new baby is born.That is a family
status change incurred consequence.
The receipt does have the child name, day care name + tax id and the start/
end date of the service.

出$800,加上付OB的要$200多,加一起$1000多,我还以为算不贵的了呢. |

我说的以前的开销不是生孩子的钱。 是生孩子以前其他的开销， 比如我洗牙的copay
。我生孩子的钱保险出了。 我不知道哪些可以用FSA。
