标 题: [Emergency] Questions about Passport Expiry !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Visa will expire in 3 months.
Is there any way I can get emergency extension from NY Chinese Consulate
cause I need to go out of boarder to Canada but re-entry to US requires
validity of passport at lease 6 months beyond admittance. Is that true ?
Anybody knows?

发帖数: 12010 | 3 I doubt it's true.you need 6 months left to get a new visa. When you enter
usa, if your passport expires sooner than your visa, they may stamp your
passport's expire date instead of your visa expire date.
