and quiet in long term, you better move or file a lawsuit. Police can't do
much if your neighbor is a deadbeat trailer trash. So in summary, call your
town police for short term solution. To avoid the long term pain, you need
to move as soon as you can.

When we rent an apartment the lower floor is playing loud music
into mid night. Landload knows but cannot really do a thing.
I called local police a few times who comes in on time. They
knock on their door (at 1am) and the noise quiets down.
This happens a few times. Then, after a few weeks, it went back the old
way.
