发帖数: 2670 | 2 我现在有个阿姨帮我打扫卫生做饭。她除了每礼拜帮我3天（每天2-3小时）之外，还帮
一家带小孩，每天2，3小时.60岁左右，有绿卡，身体挺健康。在国内是个医生，素质
挺高。
我很快要搬到manhattan，她就帮不了我了。
还有一个帮过我的阿姨近期会从上海过来，她身体更好，年级也轻些，刚来肯定没有别
的人家请她。

here:
They charge 10 bucks an hour. A Sichuan ah-yi & A shanghai ah-yi.
The sichuan ah-yi is currently helping me. she was a doctor, but she is a
bit "cu xin", overlooked some details that i wrote for the dinner quite a
few times... But nothing major. she cooks okay, with less oil and salt, so
it's healthier.
The shanghai ah-yi cooks better, but consumes a LOT of oil..
I'm happy with both of them in general coz no one is perfect.
note: they do laundry, but i dont let them clean the undies. They dont clean
the shower tub & the toilets, coz I feel bad for them to clean these for
such a low hourly rate. They helped me for mopping the floor using Switfer
products (not the heavy mop with cloth) so it's more costly for me but more
helpful for them.
I tipped them as well during some festivals and holidays, like 20-50 dollars
each time. Sometimes i gave them gifts like hand lotions, Tea from Fujian,
etc.
Guess i have lower expectation so i'm very happy with them, you should do so
, too.
Being considerate is the key, they are very nice ladies, and they are my mom
's age, doing house cleaning and making 10/hour is not easy money.
