交保费所以失去保险。

ance unless they are exempt due to government sponsorship. Yinmei Gu believe
s that her daughter’s insurance was canceled because the insurance company
thinks Yifan Gu will not improve. Yinmei Gu is a single mother and has no fa
mily except for her daughter. Because hospital bills are expensive, a websit
e has been created to help raise funds for Yifan Gu and her rehabilitation c
osts that are estimated around $50,000.
OSU was unable to comment on the state of Yifan Gu’s health insurance.
“We continue to keep Yifan Gu and her family in our thoughts. Due to privac
y requirements (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, FERPA and Health
Insurance Portability and Accountabilty Act, HIPPA), the university is not a
t liberty to discuss Ms. Gu’s health or insurance status,” said OSU spokes
woman Gayle Saunders, in an email.
