The green card serves as proof that its holder, a lawful permanent resident.
This is the document that we are requesting in order for her to retrieve an
account with Ally.
The Social Security Card states 'valid for work only', we are an online bank
and do not abide by state laws. I sincerely apologize for the hassle and
stress this situation is causing.
The legal resident and a permanent resident is the same thing, as soon as
she receives her green card, she is welcome to re-apply to open a new
account with us.
I have confirmed that as of now with these documents and she is not a
permanent resident. Once the Green Card is received, this will be suffice
information to retrieve an account with us. |
