这句话怎么解释？加这个program，好像才会罚款。
We will charge a returned item fee of $34 for any check or ACH transaction that is returned because your account had insufficient funds.
这句又说，如果账户钱不够，还是要罚$34。
糊涂了。

不开：overdraft可能被approve+罚款，但是也可能被deny+没罚款+没面子。

但是就是没从Chase的信里看出这个意思.

我一直就纳闷，为什么checking要允许overdraft呢？还有信用卡。
simply deny transaction就行了。

如果你的checking永远有足够的钱，加不加其实没区别～ 如果你有过overdraft的经历
而且是比较容易overdraft的人群，加这个其实还是有好处的。
但是有一点我没想通，如果钱不够就会deny transaction的话，实际上永远都不会
overdraft了啊，那谁还会加这个破program啊？…… |

发帖数: 2638 | 16 每个银行都有这个业务，主要用途，已经说了就是防止刷卡不过不方便，也有防止空头
支票罚款之类的，还有临时现金贷款的作用。这个账户有点类似中国大陆的准贷记卡连
上支票账户。好坏因人而异吧。我个人在citi, chase分别有500-600的overdraft
protection，HSBC有1万美元。实际上我发现当天使用现金，当天还入是没有手续费的
。这对于倒手就赚钱或者短期临时拆借还是有用的。 |

款（比如信用卡的pay bill，或者ACH的险恶内的拉款，比如某些小金额的压卡交易，
某些需要预授权以后更改价格的消费“比如加消费，比如加油”）会被罚款。 |
