signature-based purchases走信用卡网络：visa, master card, discover, amex等
PIN-based purchase走的是debit network，如NYCE, interlink, ACCEL, Star,
Mastreo, pulse等等
绝大部分debit card都是带visa或mastercard表示支持相应信用卡网络，做signature
purchase时用；背面会有一个或多个debit网络标识，做Pin-based transaction用。
至于Discover debit card，好像也就他们家的cashback checking这么一个debit card
。这卡背面有pulse标志，所以只要商家支持pulse就可以当debit用。
amex的话我觉得没有真正意义的debit card。他们的serve和bluebird确实有个pin，但
我感觉不能实际买东西时候用，而是在网站或app里做交易（如bill pay）用作验证身

一张debit card的人，最近突然发现身边的同学都有三张左右debit cards，从没有像
我这样只有一张debit card的。想起以前啥都不懂，SSN拿了很久都没申credit card，
经学长指点之后才知道申卡的重要性和各种好处，真是后知后觉。不知道在申debit
card上我是不是也后知后觉了，完全不知道多申几张debit卡除了拿开卡bonus之外，还
有哪些好处？
debit card一般只有一定量的direct deposit才能免月费，作为穷学生，卡一多钱就少
了，反而被扣月费。。。

checking account里面的钱进行消费。到ATM取钱时，debit card作为验证你是户主的
依据。
买家刷debit card，如果是输PIN的方式，商户要向相关的debit网络交费，比如STAR,
Interlink, NYCE, Pulse这些网络，一般0.75%-0.9%。如果买家选择credit方式并签字
，这种方式类似信用卡，走的也是Visa或Mastercard网络（取决于卡上标识），商家需
要支付visa/mc debit interchange fee，这个应该接近1.5%。所以商家肯定希望你选
debit，但银行和visa/mc希望你选credit。
你给信用卡还款是肯定是要100% cash equivalent，当然人家不可能让你用debit card |

我半年前被蓝鸟查过，按要求传真了我前后链接的2个银行账户statement就没事了。
还从来没有链接过debit card。

traditionally bank-issued debit card, of which most do not have a reward
program. So he think it is insane to waste your monthly quota with a payment
generating nothing.
However, I guess in your case, you broadly define those visa/masetrcard gift
card as "debit card" as well (as "DEBIT" is printed on the card). In this
case, you most likely get the visa gift card with some bonus earning credit

到可以转到debit 卡上。然后再bill pay 掉。还提到这个debit 卡有额外的1%.
现在有几个问题想请教。
一 这张debit卡是不是PayPal prepaid master debit card, 白蓝相间，可以开
savings 拿5%的？
二如果是的话，我有这张卡。好像没有看到1%.。
三，另外确实可以秒转钱但有限额而且不高。但这样转钱似乎也是withdraw 到管理这
个debit卡银行的checking 账户。这和直接提现有区别么？
四。转出来之后怎么用掉呢。目前我看到的有1 去7 11付账。但很烦，手续费加附近没
有。2 充蓝鸟再付账。这样不是多此一举么？直接充就好了。 3 网上的一些免手续费
用debit卡付账方式，但这个能付信用卡么？
请大神解惑！

credit card是0 liability的，cc被盗用的时候，跟他们说不是你花的立刻就没事了。
debit card，电话完了转一段录音，要求你必须听
念了好多条件，说每个trasaction要给你邮寄一张表格，你必须填好寄回去“AS SOON
AS POSSIBLE”然后他们还要review等等，如果怎么样不通过还可能不给你退钱等等。
好像debit card能给你追回来的钱也有限，还有时限...
虽然debit card上有个visa/master的logo，能通过visa/master系统消费，但是原理还

）。今天去一个店灰香草居然空了，看旁边还有其他的香草visa gc，随便挑了一种，
看到后面可以设置Pin就买了，然后在沃尔玛和灰香草一样顺利load到serve卡。
由此推测只要卡面有debit字样并可以设置Pin的gift card，不论什么包装，什么银行
发行的，不论是visa还是mastercard都可以当作debit卡在walmart load到serve里面。
用prepaid gc进行reload的难点在于大部分gc(比如灰香草和其他香草visa gc，master
gc)被默沃尔玛Pos机默认为credit card，还没来得及签名就被declined，而walmart
仅支持现金和debit card进行reload，不支持credit card （CVS曾经支持cc进行
reload的黄金时代一去不复返了，拿着citi dividend去Load serve卡应该是最爽的一

发帖数: 369 | 20 上周还没有问题，今天先去机器充，步骤不变，到最后刷完灰香草，输完pin以后，屏
幕显示authorization in process,然后就说card not accepted,我看屏幕显示的
reason是：debit-not-available，换一张卡，一样的问题。
于是到money center找小二，第一次刷完灰香草以后，等了一会儿进入了signature的
界面，证实系统已经更新了，于是重来，刷完灰香草后，用cancel大法，看到了选
payment的界面，选了“atm/dbt",然后就可以输Pin了，输完了之后，小二在那边点了
个button，结果最后就显示decline了。我先开始担心小二点的不是debit,又跟小二说
了一下，要点debit，又来了一遍，这回我觉得小二应该点的是debit了（我看不到他那
边的电脑屏幕），结果一样。小二显得有些不耐烦了，后面还有好几个人排队，于是就
作罢了。
打了灰香草后面的877电话，确认了两张卡都是激活了的，ready to use,每张卡里面是
500.

，金额是413.90，刚好是两张$200的gc的钱。
我自己怀疑了自己很久，因为卡并没丢，而且自己平时也会买gc。但我不可能用debit
，也不会买200面值的（手续费太贵）。而且想了好久，确实没去过那家staples，那条
路我都不认得。然后专门查了自己那天还用了别的debit卡购物，而我自己平时从不带
两张debit卡。最终确定staples那个消费不是我自己的。
一个月前discover曾莫名其妙的说我的信用卡信息被盗，给我换了一张信用卡（帐号也
换了），尽管那张信用卡上我没发现任何异常。从没提醒过debit有异常。
正在dispute。提醒大家不用的checking里少放钱。 |

Card 和密码会分开寄过来。嗯，这是正常步骤。
Welcome letter 很快就寄过来了。但 debit card 过了 20 天还没影。于是打电话去
问。被告知 debit card 不会自动寄，要去 branch 申请。当时就觉得有点不对。网页
上说会自动寄的啊。
LD 于是去 branch 申请了，我比较懒，还没去。
LD 的 debit card 很快寄过来了，看来去 branch 申请还是有效的。
但再过了几天，我和 LD 同时收到 email，说我们各自的 debit card 已经寄出了，还
给出了最后四位卡号。LD的卡号和收到那张不同。我根本没有去 branch 申请，也寄出
了。
这么说来，根本不需要去 branch 申请的。 |

种方式，一个是以debit card消费，那么需要输入密码，另外一种是以credit card方
式消费，无需密码，但需要签名。这两种消费方式实际上都是消费的debit.
我问万一别人拿我的卡签名乱买东西怎么办？他们说那个跟普通信用卡一样，可以跟

具体就是你拿张支票过去，它家的debit 卡和你的支票上面的routine number 和
accting number 联系起来，每次你刷这个卡，等于是写了张支票给靶子店。
然后5%是立刻就显示出来，而且申请时候很方便，小二说信用卡的application比这个
要长好多。
另外一个注意的是， 即使是debit 卡 即使你checking里面很多钱，似乎一开始这个
debit卡还是有额度的，我就是刚开卡就去刷ipad， 结果无法通过，打电话给CS 说要
试试小额度。
最后似乎只试了200多美金， CS说以后几个月后会涨，看来还是前期买买菜啥的。没法

所以CC可以，debit也可以，反正去walmart中间顺路 stop一下，撸一把呗

= 14还是值得停一下的，结果今天带着debit去，麻痹改口了，就是黑大妈，里面收银

processed like a PIN-debit transaction, the Personal Identification Number (
PIN) won't be required.
我从来没关联debit card到paypal，所以不知道有无办法破。Amazon默认也是用PIN-
less debit方式，但是有个选项可以让amazon用credit方式来charge，不知道PayPal是

同理liability的account,借了钱，收到现金,debit cash；还钱，支出现金，credit
cash
其实道理是相通的啊，有了概念了就不用整天记哪个是debit,哪个是credit了 |

但是刚才去官网看:

信用卡付款。俺妹没做过跨洋收款，就像让我在美国代收一下。
我觉得信用卡，付款人可以找理由要求信用卡公司把钱索回，不保险。debit card好像
保险一些。是否可以让他把钱打入我的debit卡里？debit card可以收款吗? 另外，如
果买方有了我的卡号，不付钱反倒把我的钱划走，有可能吧？

just tell them you already paid the credit card bill.
