The Central West End has always been the place to be for Halloween. On
October 29th, the festivities begin again!
Daytime Activities
11 am - Children's Costume Parade
The parade will start at the intersection of McPherson and Euclid, and
progress south along Euclid to Maryland Plaza. Following the parade,
children are invited on stage to show off their costumes.
12 pm - Trick-or-Treating
Children will be given complimentary Trick-or-Treat bags following the
Children's Parade. Businesses up and down Euclid, Maryland Plaza and
McPherson will be handing out goodies to trick-or-treaters.
1 pm - Pet Costume Parade
The parade will start at the intersection of McPherson and Euclid, and
progress south along Euclid to Maryland Plaza.
Once the sun goes down, the real ghouls come out!
ADULTS ONLY Costume Contest and Party - featuring over $3000 in cash prizes!
6 pm - Registration for the costume contest opens at Maryland Plaza
9 pm - Costume contest begins
10:30 pm - Top Ten finalists announced
11 pm - Contest winners announced
COSTUME CONTEST DETAILS
The organizing committee and judges of the CWE Halloween Adult Costume
Contest reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone. All decisions of the
judges and producer are final.
Entry Fees
Fees may be paid by CASH ONLY
$20 per individual, $40 for groups
Registration opens at 6pm. Registration is located directly behind stage.
Photos will be taken of all costume entries. Keep your registration form as
it is your only proof of payment. If you lose your form, YOU MUST PAY AGAIN.
Each entry is assigned a number at the beginning of the contest. Keep your
number until the Final Round.
The contest begins around 9pm. Unfortunately, we cannot play your CD or
music of your request.The first round will narrow the field to a Top 10
which will be announced around 10:30. You must be present to win.

- DO NOT throw anything to or on the crowd

1st prize - $1,500
2nd prize - $1,000
