You raise an interesting side issue: _did_ "they" prosecute and/or put to
death people who didn't believe the Earth was flat?
I'd be interested in citations where this is reported, but only if they give
specifics: names, dates, who did the persecuting. Anything less is worse
than apocryphal, and I strongly suspect that anything more is fabricated.
So I'm not just asking to make a point. |
