Every Chinese-American should learn about Game theory, because we live in
the land of the Great Game.
In particular, Shapley-Shubik power index:

This concept explains how a voting bloc could achieve more power voting
together than separately. By extension, any minority group that found ways
to cooperate again and again, will achieve greater success in a democracy
than their sheer numbers warrants.
