NBI 21ST CENTURY COUNCIL MISSION STATEMENT
The NBI 21st Century Council is a forum for dialogue and action on issues of
global governance that recognizes the radical power-shift underway in
geopolitics reflected in the rise of the G-20 as the key governing body of
globalization.
It's members include former heads of state, global enterepreneurs, Nobel
laureates and leading thinkers from around the world.
The membership is divided into four categories: Global Leaders, including
Shaukat Aziz, Zheng Bijian, Fernando Henrique Cardoso, Felipe González,
Pascal Lamy, Festus Mogae, Gerhard Schröder, George Yeo and Ernesto
Zedillo; Global Thinkers including Francis Fukuyama, Joseph Stiglitz,
Amartya Sen, Nouriel Roubini, Alain Minc, Fareed Zakaria, Michael Spence,
and Ahmed Zewail; Change Agents including Jack Dorsey, Fred Hu, Arianna
Huffington, Mohamed "Mo" Ibrahim, Eric Li and Eric Schmidt; And Advisors-At-
Large including Juan Luis Cebrian, Mohamed El Erian, Jendayi Frazer, Chad
Hurley, Kishore Mabhubani, Dambisa Moyo, Elon Musk, Pierre Omidyar, Rodrigo
de Rato, Peter Schwartz and Jeff Skoll. Nathan Gardels is the Senior Advisor
to the group.
