的保险已经过期，是non-fault的,人在michigan.
警察已经说是我的fault,这样的情况下，我是不是要赔偿对方的损失（因为保险过期）
，而且需要向政
府交罚金？(driving without insurance）。觉得自己真是太二了，对这些事情根本没
有重视，
出事儿了才后悔莫及，大家出出主意，也引以为戒吧。 |

会不会蹲监狱
呢？因为我看到法律上写的 up to $500 fine, 1 year in jail or both.
我的保险是7月22号过期的，我没有意识到，也没有收到过保险公司的email 提醒，只
怪自己太不小心

你说的有道理，我已经用电话续了我的POLICY，但是好像没有period这么一会说。如果
对方没有的
话，确实是要联系我，那我就PAY好了。但是如果对方有的话，对方保险公司会不会找
我的保险公司，这

发现对方和我是同一个保险公司，这样的话，应该不妙吧，公司一查记录就会知道，我
的保险过期了。
不知道会怎样。

，但钱没交，当前就担心保险不保。补交费后保险公司帮我付了五仟多，好险啊！ |

恩，下次咱们一定要注意了，不知道我这次会是什么情况，今天下午刚交了续保险的钱

续到。non-fault据说不用赔钱，谁都不赔。就怕人家告我misdemeanor。谢谢回复
