On February 27, 2004, Mainichi Shimbun reported that Shoko Asahara, the
founder of the AUM Shinrikyo cult had been sentenced to death in the Tokyo

Shoko Asahara’s relationship to the Fourteenth Dalai Lama
The „mystic” history of the AUM sect began in India in 1986. Shoko
Asahara had wandered through the southern slopes of the Himalayas for weeks
