On February 27, 2004, Mainichi Shimbun reported that Shoko Asahara, the
founder of the AUM Shinrikyo cult had been sentenced to death in the Tokyo
District Court after being convicted on 13 charges. |

西藏文化谈(十九)：
“使日本香巴拉化，是使世界香巴拉化的第一步。参加这一行动的人，将积大德而入天
堂。”--- 麻原彰晃(Shoko Asahara)。
1955年麻原彰晃出生于一个多子的日本家庭，他的双眼几乎失明，所以他上的是盲人学
校。他想上东京大学未成，就潜心研究亚洲医学和瑜珈术。1978年他结婚后，共有六个
孩子。1984年他组织了第一个宗教团体。1986年麻原彰晃来到印度，他延着喜马拉雅山
南麓询访佛教寺院。在此他找 到了他所追求的：“我尝试过许多宗教修练法，道教、
瑜珈、佛教，把它们揉合进我的修练法中去。我的目的就是精神上的大澈大悟。后来我
只遵守佛教的法则，在喜马拉雅山的神圣环境中，我大澈大悟了。”(来源 Shoko

回到日本后麻原彰晃将他的修练小组改名叫“奥姆真理教”(AUM Shinrikyo)。此时麻
原彰晃的世界观是大乘佛教的“慈悲爲怀”：“我不能忍受自己在极乐的大澈大悟中，
而别人仍在苦海之中。我想牺牲自己，拯救生灵，我觉得这是我的责 |
