Initial unenhanced axial CT images of the abdomen and pelvis were obtained
from above the diaphragm through the public symphysis. The patient was
hydrated and scans were obtained after administration of IV contrast timed
to optimize imaging in the corticomedullary and urographic phase. Sagittal
and coronal images were derived from the data set.
The kidneys enhance an excrete contrast symmetrically without evidence of
collecting system dilatation. No renal mass is identified. There is adequate
distention of the renal collecting system and both ureters. No additional
right-sided or left-sided collecting system filling defect or stenosis is
identified.
No bladder filling defects are identified. No focal hepatic lesions are
identified.
