This is the head line of the AD for a silence auction in the Institute of
Psychiatry to raise awareness & fight stigma.
While seeing it, I was a little bit shocked by the "1/4".
I suspect the "1/4" statement is over estimated.
If it is true, it really is one of the tough challenges to face the mental
illness in the real world. |

mental disorders including caffeine withdrawal syndrome, restless leg
syndrome, hoarding disorder and premenstrual dysphoric disorder are added to
the DSM-5. I do see a lot of coffee lovers although I am not sure whether 1
/4 of them suffer from the mental disorder of caffeine withdrawal syndrome. |

disorders, psychosis NOS, substance related disorders. I would say it's way
more than 1/4. |

can be tortured enough to develop traumatic disorders. It's not difficult to
become addicted, or heartbroken, or brain injured in an accident.
Though we may not all be diagnosed with a mental disorder, I don't think
anyone is above it. |

Many of us have the natural power to heal by ourselves and come back "normal
" again, while some may have to use professional help or medicine to help
them recover.
