more important than your clinical skill(compare to other physician, no

relation, physician/staff relation and physician/physician relation. Each
have some common themes and yet distinctly different. An experienced
interviewer can sense that right away.

intro/extrovert)无关。

L****n 发帖数: 12932 | 7 well, to sum it up - "short and engaging".
As i mentioned before, physician talk is a professional talk - with the
keyword being EFFICIENT, not just fluent. In a short interview, efficiency
is even more important. U want to say every sentence with a POINT in mind.
Also you want to understand the interviewer's question to the point on the
first read. If they have to come back to ask the same question a second
time (most likely in a different phrase, to make it easier for you to
understand, so to speak), or you have to repeat your answer for other to
understand, U are not very efficient.
On the basis of that, you have to adjust the topics, tones as well as
casualness base on your interviewers personality. This flexibility is also
very important. From crummy stoic to goofilly funny, everyone has a
different comfort zone, like a radio, optimal at a different "wave length".
you need to read that. May not be that easy to tune yourself into that wave
length quickly, but you definitely don't want to stray too far away from
that.
by no mean this is complete, or even correct. I had been very lucky so far
with all the important interviews in my career so i think these are a few
key points to stick to. wanting to see if other docs here can share their
pearls. - Yes, all free. ;-P

如果做不到这些,那就留给PD一个和善的印象吧, simply put the smile on the
face.

My theory about personality is that you can not clear cut divide ppl into
extrovert or introvert. Neither is absolutely good! The application of
percentage is more appropriate. You are born with a percentage (80%
introvert/20% extravert or vice versa). However, the percentage shifts b/w
the extrovert and introvert part. The exhibition of personality is very
situational and case sensitive. For your path IVs, it is more like a show
time. More extravert shift is desirable. On the other hand, when you join
path residency and sit comfortably reading a slide, introvert shift is more
desirable. |
