John H Stroger Jr hospital of Cook County (DR) Residency Program will have
an additional opening in our R1(PGY-2) starting July 1, 2017. Our program is
located in the city of Chicago and has 16 total DR Residents.
The program offers a unique breadth of training experiences at Stroger
hospital, one of the largest public county hospitals in the country, and a
multitude of sub speciality satellite imaging venues. The diverse and
complex cases at cook provide our residents with great learning
opportunities to hone their radiology skills. Moreover, the structured and
graded curriculum nurtures autonomy and confidence.
We require that you have completed a Year of internship within an ACGME
accredited program.

FOUR 1st year Diagnostic Radiology Residency Positions (PGY-2) will be
available July 1, 2018 at the West Virginia University School of Medicine,
in beautiful Morgantown, WV.
These FOUR new PGY-2 positions are the happy result of our program’s
permanent complement increase from 16 total to 24 total that became
effective July 1, 2017.
These FOUR new positions beginning July 2018 are in addition to the six
positions we offer in the coming fall recruitment cycle for July 2019. We
are very enthused to increase our resident numbers quickly and offer an
extraordinary training experience to FOUR candidates who are presently in (
or have successfully completed) an approved ACGME accredited internship/
preliminary year, and will be ready to begin Diagnostic Radiology training
in July 2018.
We will be accepting applications for 2018 positions during the fall 2017

year。所以没有PGY-1的position.
我带的很多米国医学生都会问我哪有这些信息，他们转我们科的时候还没match上。也
有很多做完PGY-1想转入RAD的到处问哪儿有PGY2/R1的position。当然大都是老美或者
别的国家的IMG。我当年在这个版上找如何能match上RAD，搜到的文章都是很久前的。
得到的结论就是RAD很竞争，不可能。其实不是不可能，是根本不知道哪儿找信息。
所以我特别把三个很重要的网站每天更新的RAD新position放在这儿。想着只要能帮到
任何CMG都是好事。那
些想做RAD没match上的人就没必要花钱去residentswap网站找位置了。
brightfish你要看着不舒服可以不看。只要能帮助任何潜在的人都是好事。
当然如果版主或大家认为我这帖子在这儿碍事大可以直接删掉，我就不再发了。

发帖数: 54 | 12 没什么可激动的。我自己因为family reason希望转到离家近的program所以天天浏览这
些信息。之前就是因为根本不知道在哪儿找信息，人家post出来2个月我才看到，错过
了很好的机会，那才是黄花菜都凉了。所以我现在会在program post出来位置之后当天
就update到这里。对我来说天天看的网站信息COPY／PASTE而已，不会费事。我一人带
俩娃做着住院医还真没时间搞讲座。如果您认为我这是没有真心帮CMG，您大可以抽点
时间组织搞学习班之类的做点您认为真心帮大家的事。
我相信我的帖子肯定是对您没什么用。所以您大可不看。
如果去年有人能在这里贴这样的帖子，我没准就能跟家人早一年团聚。所以我的帖子在
这里，只为想要转入RAD或者因为各种原因需要switch program的人看。

Unexpected PGY3 R2 Opening at Mayo Clinic Florida
Mayo Clinic Florida has an unexpected opening and is seeking to fill a PGY3
R2 Diagnostic Radiology Residency position. Applicants require an ACGME-
accredited internship and one year of training in an ACGME accredited
Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program. Ideal start date would be January 1
2018. Eligible candidates must be in good academic and professional standing

发帖数: 54 | 17 我们医院的住院医有从神外，普外，神经，儿科转过来的，也有因为家庭原因从其他
program过来的。似乎都没什么问题。就我自己而言，我的PD知道我因为家庭原因想找
离老公近的program转过去，他很supportive。甚至帮我跟当地医院的PD联系，还说如
果switch到一个program做的不开心他会帮忙把我switch回来。
