I believe you can use OPT to do your residency in some hospitals. It
probably depends on what prior experience the HR has.
The issue is you may match into a program where OPT is not acceptable for
residency. In any event, there is no big difference between dealing with H1b
and OPT, in my opinion. |

我当年internship就是用F-1 OPT做的，后来的residency program 可以办H-1, 算是万
一在移民局那里挂了有个备胎。
